Welcome to the BHS Counselor's webpage. Please see the below information concerning PSAT, SAT, and ACT testing dates. Something new: we are about to launch CareerCruising, which is an Internet-based career exploration and planning tool used by students to explore career and college options for developing a career plan. Career Cruising can be accessed from school, from home, or wherever a student has access to the Internet. There will be much more information coming about this new and helpful initiative. We also have a new Transitions website that provides numerous links for post-high school opportunities for students and their parents. I highly recommend that you investigate this new platform.

ACT: English 18; Math 22; Reading 21; Science Reasoning 24

Recommended or Distinguished Achievement

The following students will receive automatic admission if they apply to a state institution in Texas:

Top 10%  (about the top 15 students)
Top 8% for UT
